In this list we will be exploring some of the scenes that were most iconic and memorable in Superhero movies and the genre as a whole. The Superhero world is full of fantastic moments and some may be more memorable or touching to different fans for many reasons. We've compiled a few of our favourites that spring to mind as scenes that really stood out in a plethora of amazing moments.
“I am Iron Man”
Tony Stark proves in his first film that he is far from your stereotypical hero. Arrogant, self obsessed and he definitely doesn't take time to consider how his actions affect others. Faced with the possibility of keeping his identity a secret, therefore losing out on credit for his heroics, and in a move rarely seen in in Superhero film, Tony Stark admits that he is Iron Man. “The truth is (dramatic pause), I am Iron Man.”

“I'm Batman”
In Batman Begins, Bruce Wayne returns from his training with The League of Shadows and finally makes his first appearance as Batman, and in fantastic fashion. Batman targets a local Mafia leader and follows his men through some shipping containers while perfectly demonstrating how he can strike fear into the hearts of criminals. The icing on the cake is when Batman ties the mobster to a spotlight in an early version of his famous Bat-Signal.

Avengers Teamwork
These heroes have a tough time working together in the beginning, something which wasn't helped by a meddling manipulations of Loki. When Loki releases his army in New York, the Avengers unite to fight a common enemy. There is an awesome shot as the camera pans around our heroes and we see them forming a circle, ready to stand as one.

Train Stopping
After a train battle with Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2, Doctor Octopus takes off, but not before disabling the brakes on the train. This shows Spider-Man at his most heroic, putting his life on the line in a harrowing attempt to stop the train and save its passengers. The occupants of the train show Peter Parker their gratitude with their attempt to save him in a touching scene.

Interrogating Joker
When fans think of The Dark Knight, the first scene that comes to mind is the intense scene with Batman and Joker in an interrogation room. Commissioner Gordon enrols Batman for the task of questioning Joker, while Joker takes control, highlighting the similarities between himself and Batman, as well as explaining his lack of interest in rules, adding that the rest of Gotham is the same. “They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these... these civilized people, they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve”, the Joker explains.
