Call of Duty Modern Warfare is back! If you’re into gaming at all then you will have heard of the latest release, with a storyline that is loosely based on the Gulf War that has you play the role of a CIA officer and SAS Sergeant who are tasked with recovering gas that a terrorist group in Urzikstan has stolen. The game is quite obviously political, and certainly paints the US in a better light by rewriting history in their favour.
Game developers Activision say that they have made an apolitical game, however this does not appear the case at all. There is quite a bit of anti-Russia propaganda, the PlayStation store in Russia are not selling it due to the skewed storytelling and major Russian streamers have quit the game.
Still an Awesome Shooter!

That aside, the game has beautiful graphics and is more relatable than other titles, as it covers more modern style events than fighting Nazis, players feel more in tune with the game. The familiarity brought to the game is enjoyable but also comes with moral boundaries that many feel have been overstepped in an attempt to create a game with a deep impact.
Of course, you don’t have to play the campaign, I know I always jump straight to multiplayer games online and the game certainly shines in this area. With stunning graphics and a range of game types, there is really no need to enter campaign mode unless you want to.
