Harry Potter Logo Movie Title

It’s that time of year again, the evenings are getting darker, the cold weather is rolling in and you can hear the rain pounding against the window. What is a Muggle to do at this time of year? The best answer is always to get cosy and binge on Harry Potter movies!

There is absolutely nothing better than hearing the iconic Harry Potter music come on as the logo appears on screen and you get transported once more into the magical world of witches and wizards! The timing is perfect, as students head back to Hogwarts on the 1st of September the weather starts to change and by October the mornings are cold and nights are dark, you can easily imagine yourself dashing about a gloomy Hogwarts, trying to make it from a class in Snape’s dungeon all the way to the North Tower for Divination in Professor Trelawney’s stiflingly hot classroom!

You don't even care that "every day, every hour, this very minute, perhaps, dark forces attempt to penetrate this castle's walls", you're just happy to be experiencing the enchanting wonder of the magical world of Harry Potter and the Hogwarts lifestyle! The fantastic thing about the Harry Potter movies is that there are so many, and you can easily re-watch them again and again!

With such an amazing array of characters and story lines there is always something new to learn about the Wizarding World, these fantastic films will carry you right through winter and into the new year - ready to start the process again!

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows was my favourite book, and Part 1 of the Deathly Hallows films was probably my top film from the series too, I love how dark it gets and how it shows a culmination of the characters' personalities.

Check out the official trailer for the Deathly Hallows below, am I wrong, is one of the other HP books or movies better?

  • I need to watch them all again. I had never seen them then my lil boy introduced me to them and now I’m hooked. How could I have missed such a fabulous experience xx

    Gemma Seddon
  • Harry Potter and the half blood Prince

    Hayley Bowskill
  • I love all the film’s!! but think the half blood Prince has to be my favourite movie. My favourite book was chamber of secrets.

    Enya
  • I like them all it’s hard to say which one is the best but I’d say chamber of secrets..

    Lydia
  • I love Harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban because it is where the books and film start to get a bit darker and harry starts to learn more about his parents and their school life and friends and how everything is not just black and white but rainbow

    Lynda
  • My ultimate favourite hp book or movie is harry potter and the philosopher’s stone .It was the very first book that introduced me to the wizarding world and made me fall in love with this universe .It will always have a special place in my heart and none of the reast can superpass it . It always has something magical when i read it , that i haven’t felt with any other book. The characters that i saw for the first time , this whole new place called hogwarts , all the new and different things such as diagon alley or spells or ghosts or quidditch are just everything .

    Elvina
  • Deffinatly the Prisoner of Azkaban, I mean who can beat “hey guys, guys, why the long faces?”

    Emily
  • Philosophers Stone but I loved reading all the Harry potter books

    Caroline
  • Probably the first movie, where it started it all!

    Alex
  • I am utterly obsessed with HP and can’t even tell you how many times I’ve read the books and watched the films… The musical intro to Philosopher’s Stone always gets me “I should have know you would be here… Professor McGonagall…” “Good Evening, Professor Dumbledore” I love it… It’s where it all began… I also love Prisoner of Azkaban as I feel that was the best portrayal of the characters, the locations, details like that… #afterallthistime #always #gogogryffindor

    Elizabeth
  • The very first book and film, it was my youngest daughter’s favourite film when she was 3 and she knew it off by heart! Also the Deathly Hallows film part one, when Ron has buggered off and Hermione and Harry are alone in the tent having a dance .

    Gemma Watkins
  • I love the 3rd book, prisoner of azkaban.
Buckbeak was a fantastic and incredible new addition to the creatures that the students study about and the friendship between Hagrid, harry, Ron and hermione grows stronger! The use of the Time Turner confusing harry and Ron about when she gets to lessons is hilarious! I need one to juggle all the things I do! :D

    Sophie Miller
  • I must admit to never having read any of the books, they are on my to do list, but I have seen all the films on the big screen and numerous times since. I love the Philosopher’s Stone, seeing the characters develop but my favourite film is the Order of the Pheonix. Here you see Harry come into his own with the guidance of Sirius but sad endings, the battle with Dumbledore and Voldemort very emotional and exciting

    Julie Sheavyn-Bentley
  • The philosopher stone is my favourite book and the prisoner of askaban

And jk Rowling was richer than the queen once and I went to the Harry Potter studios in London

    Jamesrhichard Hallett
  • My favourite has to be the philosophers stone where it all began both the book and the film were brilliant. I loved how well diagonal alley was portrayed, and this is where the magic really began and everything starts to unfold. A close second is the prisoner of azkaban, I enjoyed the mysterious of Sirius’s character intriguing, the fact hes portrayed as the bad guy all the way to the end and you finally find out he was the good guy all along was a really good twist, it was not something I saw coming. All the books and films are brilliant!

    Elise johnson
  • I’d love to win this merch as my cousin who’s 7 has just started to read through the Harry Potter novels with his mum. He’s really getting into the books and it would be a lovely gift that I could give him.

    Lauren
  • Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite film. I love Buckbeak and think it would be amazing to meet him and to fly with him over the grounds of Hogwarts. Also I would love my own time turner that would be cool.

    Charmaine
  • I love all the Harry Potter books but I think if I have to pick my favourite it it The Prisoner of Azkaban. I love that harry is introduced to his godfather and learns the truth about what happened on the evening he got his scar!

    Katie
  • I think my favourite book is The Goblet of fire. The ball, the cup, dragons, it all just seemed that extra bit magical. Film wise possibly the prisoner of azkaban. Sirius is my favourite Potter character of all time.

    Katie Galloway
  • The Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite book (and film). I love how dark it got and all the new magical creatures that were introduced.

    Megan
  • It would have to be the Sorcerer’s Stone book. It’s what started my love for the Harry Potter series. That’s where us muggles learn everything for the 1st time.

    Jim Hayes
  • “The Philosopher’s Stone”,definitely,as all the characters and settings are fresh and new! :) xxx

    Sara Bellisio
  • Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone is my favourite because it’s where all the magic begins. Harry starts to realise who he is and why he was pushed out by his Aunt and Uncle, it’s where friendships were made and those friendships lasted through everything. It shows that sometimes friends are more like family than real family. Harry learns so much within his first year at hogwarts, like magic, how to fight a troll, he discovered who Voldemort was and learnt about what happened to his family; most of all he learnt how to break the rules.

    Serena Matthews
  • Philosophers stone, simply because it’s where it all began and now I can enjoy it all again from the beginning with my little ones.

    Sara Wild
  • I loved prisoner of Azkaban – truly magical, on the edge of you seat- what is going to happen.
Death eaters and patronus’s, magical creatures and time turning, how could you not love it !

    Jenna Gillies
  • My favourite film and book is order of the Phoenix . I love when Harry spends time with his godfather Serius but it’s was sad when he got killed. My favourite part was when Voldemort came after Harry and battled Dumbledoor. I liked it when Snape uses his wand to control Harry’s mind and emotions . Harry teaches dumbledoor’s army how to defend themselves.

    Megan
  • The Order of the Phoenix is my favourite film which I love. It’s lovely when Harry spends time with his godfather Serius. Interesting when Snape goes into Harry’s mind. My favourite part is when Voldemort Comes after Harry and battles dumbledoor .

    Megan
  • I love the Goblet of Fire, I love the different challenges of the Triwizard Cup and the costumes from the visiting schools

    Jo Shaw
  • The Prisoner of Azkaban. Book and film. Introduced new magical creatures and key characters in the series and had a brilliant plot twist which became the standard for the stories that followed.

    Phil
  • Philosophers Stone as it’s what started everything

    Lucy
  • Half blooded price.

    Donna Weston
  • fave movie would be goblet of fire for all the amazing special effects

    donna skelton
  • Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is my favourite, maybe, because this started everything, we got the first informations about this amazing world :)

    Krisztina
  • Easily the prisoner of azkaban film. Stylish but dark but my wife who is a huge potter fan likes goblet of fire because it’s when the story becomes darker

    Andy Blackshaw
  • Prisoner of azkaban

    Katy Capper
  • I love Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire bothe the book and the film. Due to the fact that it shows Harry’s bravery because who at that age would compete in a competition where death is involved especially when your not of age and didnt want to do it in the first place. It also takes Ron and Harry’s friendship to sort of a breaking point but its special when they actually come together again when Ron realizes Harry didnt really enter. The whole film and book just sends you on a journey and through a rollercoaster of emotions

    Ria Platt
  • My favourite film was the prisoner of Azkaban, you learned so much more about the characters my favourite characters are Ron Weasley and Sirius Black, I feel this movie where friendships are truly made and cemented and where each are willing to sacrifice themselves to save each other, Harry learns the truth about what happened the night his family died how is god father ended in Azkaban and what happened to Peter Pettigrew, you learn what dementors are and capable off buck-beaks saved along with Sirius it’s just amazing

    Emma Watton
  • I’m not a Harry potter fan but I have a small soft spot for Goblet of Fire due to the scene with the Mermaids saying “only one” as my 3 year old daughter just loves watching that part on repeat, not sure why though lol

    Adam Langston
  • Has to be the philosophers stone because without that there would be no magic it was the beginning of a great set of books and I loved them. It was the beginning of an era

    Lyndsey valentine
  • My favourite book is Prisoner of Azkaban because Harry got to meet Lupin and Sirius for the first time and get more of an understanding of who his parents were and how much people do care about him.

    Alice
  • My favourite book is the Prisoner of Azkaban as it’s the first book I read whilst in English class at secondary school and it got me hooked!
My favourite film is the Goblet of Fire as it started the bad parts of and it was so sad when Cedric does.and his Dad, Amos, realises his son is dead and it’s a sad but moving scene!

    Carrie Lintern
  • Favourite movie is have to say Goblet of Fire, so much happened and I always refer to the film as “Harry Potter and the year no one got a haircut”.

    Kirsty Wotherspoon
  • I love all of Harry Potter but my favourite is prisoner of Azkaban and order of the Phoenix I can’t decide

    Megan
  • My favourite book is definitely Philosopher’s Stone, it’s where the magic began and also my obsession. I still vividly remember reading the moment the bricks moved at the entrance to Diagon Alley and all the amazing details of the first glimpse into the Wizarding World. I also like how much lighter it is than the others, less dark and deathly. As far as the movies, I have a few favourites there but I think it’s a close tie between Philosopher’s Stone and Prisoner of Azkaban (mostly because of Hermione’s awesome punching of Malfoy haha) but also because I love Sirius.

    Natalie W
  • Harry potter and the chamber of secrets…

Its the first one i watched with my daughter and we loved Harry potter after that
