Retro Styler The Grumpy Grinch Christmas Jumper Give-Away

Adam We
Self-Proclaimed Potterhead, Game of Thrones Fan & All Round Charming Irish Chap

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

The Grinch is the grouchiest resident of Whoville, living high above the town with his dog named Max. He loathes the Whos and Christmas, the 2000 film How the Grinch Stole Christmas gives him a tragic backstory to explain his Christmas fear but Dr. Seuss said in the book that "no one quite knows the reason". The Grinch has become an anti-icon for Christmas, a bit like Ebenezer Scrooge, but it's hard not to find him highly entertaining in a strange sort of way and see him as a bizarre Christmas icon!

  • The Jim Carrey version is amazing and funny and it’s a family tradition to watch it at christmas

    Rebecca
  • The Jim Carrey version HAS to be my favourite!! I love everything about it…the hate of people, time of year and everything about it. It has everything a Christmas film should have, the little village where everyone knows each other and how they all come together when it goes wrong with the fun of the Grinch thrown in…the part where he’s made to wear the Christmas jumper is my favourite! That’s definitely me and my hubby at Christmas 🤣🤣

    Alisha
  • The Jim Carey Grinch is my all time favourite 😍 my sons love it now too!

    Patti
  • I love the Jim Carey version as his adaption to the character and the brilliance with which he contorts himself into the costume and facial expressions are brilliant! I totally relate to the diary entries and the reading the telephone book as that just totally mirrors my entire outlook on life! (see what I did there?!) I love the costumes and the set designs and even the silly little jokes hidden in the script and in the background.

  • I love all the adaptations of The Grinch. It is my daughter’s favourite book. We read it all year round, not just at Christmas. We have Grinch mugs for hot chocolate and it’s her favourite thing to watch on the TV. I love it because she loves it and it makes me think of all our special times together. Plus, I’ve always been a Grinch myself but she is my Cindy Lou Who.

    Heather
  • Jim Carey for sure. Been my fave since I was young, I’m now in my 20s, I watch it every year. I feel Jim truly plays the grinch well, he captures the character perfectly. I have matching grinch pj’s for me and my baby this year💚.

    Amy G
  • I do love the Jim Carey Grinch
However the Benedict Cumberbatch Grinch is special to me as it’s the was our first date movie with the man of my dreams

    Natalie

  • I love the Jim Carey grinch! Amazing film, so funny and relatable. I laugh every time he says ‘Am I just eating because I’m bored?!’.

    Harriet
  • I love the Jim Carrey of the grinch. No one can overact and be as dramatic and overdo it to bring our grouchy Xmas hero to life

    Fran Morris
  • The Grinch 2018 with Benedict Cumberbatch it is so whimsical and funny

    Jenny Stone
  • I love the Jim Carey version. He is my favourite actor ever. I’m very much like the Grinch right up until Christmas day 😂😂 I wear my Grinch pjs and slippers all year round 😁

    Jacqueline bolan
  • The fist one it shows children it doesn’t matter what someone looks like , if they are naughty. They still can be treated the same and be kind to others if they want to and people will forgive

    Gemma
  • It has to be How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carey. That movie has been a staple of my Christmas Eve traditions for the past 15 years. Last year was my first ever Christmas without my family and as gifts, I sent my three brothers Grinch slogan t-shirts to wear for their Aussie summer Christmas. It would be wonderful to win the Grinch jumper so I can play along, London-style, in my own winter Christmas way.

  • I love the jim carrey version of the grinch, he is so funny! We do love the grinch (even the cartoon versions) 🤞🤞

    Kimberley jane
  • I love the Jim Carey version as I think he is amazing

    Lorraine Fleming
  • I love both the recent 2018 film and Jim Carey film.

The recent film just makes me laugh so so so with the signing carolers chasing the grinch and their singing was getting faster. I went to see it in the cinema last year I swear I must have been laughing the most. Also love “this is the loudest snow ever” with max and the moose. Love it.

I do love the Jim Carey won as it just feels like Christmas when I watch it as we always watch it at least twice every year in the Christmas period ( I have already watched it even though it’s November….I love Christmas) I do enjoy the narrator gets involved with the grinch and is like reading classic book with its rhymes :)

    Clare Wall
  • We love the Jim Carey Grinch film. An amazing actor.

    Sarah Lambert
  • I’ve never actually seen any of the Grinch films- I just love the look of the character, and really like the colour green! :D xxx

    Sara Bellisio
  • It has to be, of course, The Grinch staring Jim Carey.
His loneliness and secret want to be be part of society again is such a heartwarming story and really tells a story of if you go out of your comfort zone it can really pay off (eventually for him!)
    Also having lots of hilarious moments;
checking his diary looking for an excuse not to go to the holiday-whoobie-whaty
“Dinner with myself – I just can’t cancel that again!” And trying all his outfits on! Fantastic acting and a timeless movie!

    Abii
  • My favourite is the Jim Carey version How the Grinch stole Christmas because it was a big part of my childhood. I loved the film and would watch it with my family on the lead up to Christmas

    Nazine Hanson
  • The Jim Carey film is the best by far and I love max the dog. Such a great film although the more recent animated film was also good I just prefer the Jim Carey one.

    Katy
  • The grinch that stole Christmas is my favourite.

    Deborah Talbot
  • The Jim Carey Grinch. Seen it so many times and it still makes me laugh. I’ve already watched it, when I usually wait until December.

    Susan Pringle
  • I love the Jim Carey film! I love his facial expressions!

    Penny-sue Wolfe
  • Gotta be the Jim Carrey one. I used to laugh so much at it. Especially when he does the echo in the cave and it goes “I’m an idiot!” “YOU’RE AN IDIOT!”

And of course Max the dog 💕

    Sue
  • All the grinch movies I’ve watched I’ve enjoyed hit it has to be the one with Jim Carey in funniest film I have watched I enjoyed every minute of it with lines like ‘pucker up whoville’ what’s not to love x

    Lyndsey valentine
  • I have only seen the first one but enjoyed it – he is a bit scary yet funny. Would love the jumper for my partner who doesn’t like Christmas 🙈

    Kirstin R
  • My daughter loves the jim carey grinch movie. Her favourite scene is the part where baby grinch eats the plate instead of the cookies and says ‘Santa, bye-bye!’
