The most exciting gaming announcement

Over the last weekend, I spent hours playing Mario Party 4 on the Game Cube so when I heard Super Mario Party is going to be released on the Nintendo Switch this made me super excited.

With the new co-operative play, gamers can play across multiple Switches and be able to have different devices per team or connect them to their TV for one large display.

I think it's so ace how Nintendo are making their games even more interactive and it will be interesting to see where their developments take their game offering in the future.

The biggest surprises at Nintendo's E3 presentation

I was surprised to hear about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, because the new release includes every character from the game series so far!

By introducing additional characters that aren't limited to the Nintendo franchise, for example the return of Pac-Man, Nintendo allowed themselves to appeal to a much wider audience.

Also, including the characters which were only available from downloadable content like Mewtwo, who appeared as a fighter you had to previously buy, will now be included on the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - pretty cool huh?!

My all time favourite Nintendo games

Before the release of the Nintendo Switch I played a lot of Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo Wii. This had been my favourite game for many years, even before it was playable on the Wii - waaaaay back when it was on the Nintendo DS.

However, once I got a Nintendo Switch and started to play The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild early this year, this completely changed my opinion.

The game is so beautifully detailed, and I end up spending hours just exploring. It’s definitely become my favourite game of all time.

I have never been interested in buying DLCs for a game, however, after playing Zelda Breath of the Wild and being able to do so much already, I am tempted to buy the DLCs as this would enrich my overall gaming experience (although this might not help ease my addiction!)

Staying up all night with my favourite snacks, gaming non stop!

Be sure to let us know your thoughts!
